The Owner
Meet Noli Samson, founder of plonc., a designer and lifelong explorer of how surfaces shape the way we live.
From an early age, Noli was drawn to the play of art, colour, and light, not just for beauty, but for the way they influence mood, identity, and the atmosphere of a home. In his early years in Glebe, NSW, he began experimenting with tiles at the entrance of his house. What started as a simple detail revealed how deeply materials affect the experience of space, sparking a journey that would carry through decades of design and construction.
Over more than twenty years, Noli has worked across countless projects, discovering a simple truth: every home is unique, and the spaces that endure are built on bespoke design and uncompromising quality.
This philosophy became the foundation of plonc. Not another tile retailer, but a platform for surfaces that move beyond the ordinary. For Noli, tiles are not background finishes, they define atmosphere, express identity, and create architecture that lasts.
